The Angelic Choir
Director: Sister Andrea Morris
This 200-voiced women's choir offers praise and worship through song for many services at the Apostolic Church of God. We offer an open invitation to all women of ACOG who have a desire to learn the art and technique of singing; the joy of learning and singing hymns, gospel, spirituals, and classical repertoire; and the fulfillment of ministry in the Apostolic Church of God. Rehearsals take place every Monday at 7:30 p.m. The choir sings every third Sunday of the month at the 4 p.m. service
The Brotherhood Chorale
Director: Brother Brian Rice
This 180-member male choir spreads the Gospel message through song every fourth Sunday at the 4 p.m. service. The choir also sings outside of the church when called upon; they have been presented as the featured guests of the South Shore Cultural Center, the Chicago Civic Orchestra, and the Music Institute of Chicago. Rehearsals are held every Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Sanctuary Choir
Directors: Brother Ray Nuckolls, Dr. Willetta Greene-Johnson
The sanctuary choir, which includes more than 300 voices, inspire and encourage the congregation through song every Sunday. The choir is separated into two groups to accommodate the first and second Sunday morning worship services. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
Ecclesia Praise
Director: Edith Gwinn-Smith
This 50-voice children's choir for youth ages 5-13 sings during the months of September through June, mostly at Youth Ministry worship services. Rehearsals are held Fridays at 7 p.m.
